1; Gollitschspitze 2247 m 7370 ft. 2; Tauernhöhe 2328 m 7636 ft.

Early Morning Hike starting in Obertauern at the Schaidberg Parking Lot. Well signed but steep Road and up to Ernstalm 1869 m, after that levelling out up to Twenger Alm Shortly before reaching the Alm the Trail veers of to the left heading up to the Scenic Twenger Almsee. From here on it’s about 20 more Minutes on the paint marked Trail to Gollitschspitze 2247 m 7370 ft with a Summit Cross and Register, Along the way I was greeted by a lot of curious Goats checking me out. I continued along the Ridgeline off Trail and not anymore marked through Wet Grass and some Rock Scrambling up to Tauernhöhe 2328 m 7636 ft. Which was my Main Peak for today, Not marked or any Sign of a Highpoint on the Summit, You just know you reached the Highest Point when you are surrounded by Steep Drop offs. Took a couple of Pictures and returned back the same way over Gollitschspitze and down to the Lake and Alm, and the Road back to the Parking Lot, on my descent I meet about Ten Hikers on their way up. Definitely a busy destination with most People just hang out around the Lake.
