The objective for today’s SPR was to trim overgrown flora and clear debris from the trail to elevate the hiking experience and to prepare the trail for mowing.
The mile we trimmed had two to three overhead tangles of tree limbs and vines that were impeding the path and several places with overgrown beauty berry and yaupon branches.
There are two downed trees. The largest is pictured. There is another that will require a chainsaw. A couple smaller ones can be handsawed.
The signage for re-entering the trail on the east side of Lake Camelia has a split board.
