Today’s objective was to mow the final section of the closed NL starting at the fiberglass bridge and ending approximately.7 mile heading South toward the Huntsville City ROW. We used edgers to cut back the flora due to the nature of the trail in that area. It was very overgrown with lots of yaupons, beauty berry and other smaller shrubs that could pose an issue for a mower. We used one edger with string and another with a brush cutter. We’ll need to return one more time to complete the remaining section, about .3-.4 mile. We’ll use a mower with that section as it is more open and has less overgrown areas.
