Had a nice ride today. An insane Coyote stalked us quite a ways yipping and somewhat standing its ground. I think it was trying to lure Ike away. We kept riding towards it, despite my horse not liking it. Ike literally was within 5 ft of it a few times. Thankfully Ike, even though he wanted to run with the Coyote, stayed with me. Didn't want to shoot off the back of Levi, as he's not that kind of horse. Didnt really want to dismount to shoot and have to hold a horse in the process. I told the Coyote, after he failed to retreat when we ran towards it, that if he followed me home, where I could secure my horse, I was shooting him. Why can't I have crazy coyotes stalk me when I'm on foot and can more easily fire a shot at them.

Horseback Riding

Kaylena and I started our ramblr track about the same time and we got quite a bit of difference in our statistics. My distance was 10.1 miles with a 38 min pause and hers was 10.8 miles with a 13 minute pause. Don't know why our tracks were so wildly off. I'm thinking hers is more accurate because I took notice of the time during our lunch break and we rested less than 15 min.
