After a rainy day yesterday (Friday), we decided to go with a trail that we knew wouldn't be muddy - the old rail line of Chessie Trail near Lexington, Virginia. It's always a nice stroll that never disappoints! The highlight today was getting to see the famous white squirrel that hangs out near the Maury River. He/She has even had a potrait made! We came across a painting of the Mystic White Squirrel in town later!
Catch you later! ~Storyhiker
