Started at TH3, hiked T301 to the south. I intended to continue on T301 and do the larger loop, but actually got off the trail and got turned around! So just finished with the inner loop. Notes: - Signs in parking lot have been tagged with graffiti. - There is an old fence and a big ball of barbed wire at intersection 3B. Remove if fence is no longer serving a purpose. - Check where I got turned around. Trail may need better delineation. Bigger issues: - Parking lot fencing has a number of issues. Post are different heights, some posts are turned the wrong direction, there are U posts, center wire is barbed, end posts are inadequately braced. - Cactus is intruding on sections of the trail. How far can it be cleared? - Consider migrating to rolling dips for water shunting features, to get water off the trail
