Tarn Shelf Loop hike - Mount Field National Park

On a cheeky little Tasmania mini holiday, hubby and I took the opportunity to head into Mt Field National park and see a part of Tassie we have not yet explored. This hike was absolutely stunning. The air is so clean and with a recent bit of rain it was also beautifully fragrant. The yellow gums were so vibrant, the weather was cool and pleasant in the morning and then in the early afternoon the sun came out. Lots of water up in the tarns and lakes, and a trail that was a good workout and variable underfoot. Cannot recommend this hike highly enough.
