Early Start at the Parking Lot Ghs. Riesachfall (1079 m) towards Gollinghütte mostly on a Good Road and the last 30 Minutes on a Trail up to the Hut, After a short break I was on my way up to Greifenberg on a well signed Trail, Steep and narrow at times, Cable Protected on the more serious Sections but not difficult. Great views from the Summit over to Hochgolling where I have been a year ago as well as a partial view of my trail towards Waldhorn. At times the Trail marking is faded and a bit of feel for the terrain is necessary to navigate through the Boulder Field, Breite Scharte 2350 m 7708 ft. Is the next waypoint, straight forward although the Trail paint is hard to see at times, Waldhorn is straight ahead and looks intimidating at first close sight, Waldhorntörl is the next waypoint and a Sign indicating 90 Minutes to the Summit, Straight forward scrambling, steep but not difficult in dry conditions. Summit Cross and Register on a not so frequently visited peak. Kieseck is right next to it and even less visited with an improvised Stone Summit Cross and a Scrambling Ridgeline Walk. Loose and crappy boulder and scree. Went over the Summit and down the other side even more loose and eroded terrain. The aim is Rettingscharte 2326 m 7629 ft. to back on the other side towards Upper and Lower Sonntagskarsee and a good trail to Preintaler Hut. A Short Stop for a Radler and I was on my way towards my Parking Lot. The Last Part was the "Alpine Trail through the Hell" leading along numerous steps, paths, and a suspension bridge back to the Parking Lot. Conclusion:,A Long Day Hike well worth it but also possible to stay overnight at any of the two Huts for a more enjoyable Hike or add other peaks in the area such as Hochwilde or Hochgolling.
