Alto do Formosinho - 501m

This Peak is a piece of work. Parked at the Top of the Road and tried to follow Rob Woodall Track which is still good but probably not maintained since he was there in 2014, I had already a hard time locating the Start of the Trail and went into the Bush and returned as there was no way forward. Eventually I got onto his Track, Thicked Vegetation so much overgrown it was like a Tunnel with scruby Plants way over my Head. Also at times not very clear and I had to retrace and find the correct path, Shortly before the Summit I run into Wooden Posts which I could follow all the way up, If there is anything nice about this Peak, it’s the View from the Summit which is open enough to grant a Good View, A Broken Trig Pilar marks the Highpoint, On my return I kept focusing on the Wooden Poles and followed it all the way down to the Main road, while the upper part is the same nasty Brush it gets better, A Short Scrambling Secection after the Brush and thereafter more open down to the Road, Had to walk back up to the Car but that was easy in comparison. My recommendation would be to park Lower and follow my Desent Trail and the Wooden Posts. Also Long Sleeve Shirt and Pants. A very Scenic Drive to the Trailhead with Ocean View.
