From the memorial, I climbed past a field cross over the south ridge to the edge of the forest. The path at the edge of the forest was blocked off by a high fence. A trail continued through the forest, albeit through a lot of prickly vegetation, which wasn't very pleasant. At the summit, there was no cross, no cairn, absolutely nothing to indicate that I were standing on a prominent mountain. To avoid the vegetables on the way back, I descended a bit to the west across the meadow until I came across a tractor track. I followed this back to the memorial.
