Leaving the Nesselbach Valley, soon turn right onto the forest path and hike around the eastern ridge of the Reißeck into the Steinbach Valley. Passing the dilapidated mountain hut, At the height of the Steinbach Hut, the forest thins out, and I climb through the wide cirque to the Steinbach Saddle. Now I turn right and, adapting almost at will to the terrain, ascend northwards over the wide southern flank in the hollow or along its flanks to the summit cross of Kilnprein with a Register Book. The highest point of the flat summit is located a little further to the north and marked with a Cairn and Pole. Unfortunately not the Best Weather today and I returned pretty much the same way with occasional shortcut here and there. Note: My Track was based on todays Snow and Weather Conditions and might not align with other Hiking Tracks.
