Was thinking to attempt 1.6 miles Trail near Cottonwood ridge cellular signal site. Tried 1.2 miles to Coyote Springs Creek which didn't expect to have nice wildflowers and just thinking to spend sometime until more sunlight for better wildflowers display later on. Surprised to find nice California poppies display at the end of the trail at the power tower.
9:30 Started at about 1970ft
10:15 Reached the end of the trail or dirt road after about 1.3 miles at 1240ft or about 700ft down.
11:00 Heading back for next stop
12:00 Back to parking or trailhead.
Noticed trail or road on the other side. Therefore, decided to attempt with the plan to return at any time if overgrown grass.
12:35 - Heading up after lunch break
13:00 - Arrived nice California poppies and lupine display after about 0.6 miles and half hour.
13:25 - Heading up with the plan to turn back at about 3pm and back to parking about 4pm.
13:55 - On the road from Secata Ridge after 1.1 miles
14:25 - at road junction about another 0.5 miles at 3680ft
14:30 - on top at about 3680 which ATV or motorcycle should be able to arrive.
